Widening is worth considering if you have added vehicles, if guests regularly park on the grass, or if turning in and out of the current driveway is tight. Both are common in South Florida and each has genuine advantages. Pavers offer more design variety and individual units can be lifted and reset if settlement occurs. Concrete provides a continuous surface with no joints for weeds or ants, requires less ongoing maintenance, and generally costs less to install across a large area.
